Floating about on the ocean...

Helen returned at the end of April from a research trip to the Southern Ocean. She had flown to Stanley in the Falklands to join the RRS James Clark Ross for a month to study the bubbles formed by breaking waves in the ocean south of Chile. Her blog on the trip was hosted by the Guardian science webpages, and there was a live online Q&A session with Helen and other ship scientists at the end of the cruise on Tuesday 24 April.
