In the summer of 2018, Helen spent two months on an icebreaker close to the North Pole, one of forty researchers on a huge expedition to study Arctic weather. In this talk, Helen will discuss what they found, why it matters, and the future of the Arctic region. There will be stories of ice, bears and ships, and the science that made it all worthwhile…
This event is open to St George's School community and the general public. There will be light refreshments between 5.30pm and 6.00pm. The talk will start at 6.00pm.
