Sea Shambles

The planned Sea Shambles event at the Royal Albert Hall was sadly cancelled as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, but we’re delighted that a rejigged at-home version of the show will form part of our Royal Albert Home series at The Stay at Home Festival

The show will be streamed live and free via our YouTube channel and the Royal Albert Hall website to watch online at the same time, on the same date, as the original show that was set to take over the main auditorium at the Hall. May 17th at 7:00pm.

Everyone will be joining in on the fun from their living rooms for a science, music and comedy show about the past, present and future of our blue planet. If you’ve ever wondered what Compendium of Reason or Nine Lessons might look like if none of us left the house, probably something like this. Expect chaos.

As part of the show we will be collecting money for the Royal Albert Hall, which is itself a charity that receives no government revenue funding and, as we have been doing via The Stay at Home Festival, artists and venues around the country hit hard by the shutdown. We will also be highlighting and inviting donations to some incredible ocean conservation charities around the world.
