Cheltenham Science Festival 2026

Yet again, Cheltenham Science Festival turns the town into a playground for curious minds – exploring the breakthroughs, questions and discoveries shaping our lives today and tomorrow, with scientists, thinkers and storytellers at the heart of it all.  Festival dates this year are 2 – 7 June 2026.

Are Our Homes Making Us Sicker?
Make your home healthier with our expert panel: eco-renovator Judith Leary-Joyce, indoor air pollution specialist Christian Pfrang from the University of Birmingham and human behaviour specialist Chantelle Wood from the University of Sheffield.  Chaired by Helen.

Water: Our Most Precious Resource
Stephen Rutt, author of The Waterlands: Follow a Raindrop from Source to Sea, joins oceanographer Russell Arnott to dive into one of the most urgent questions of our time.  This conversation will explore water's fragile habitats and the collective action needed to protect them. Chaired by Helen.
